Pictures from 2004 Reno/Lake Tahoe Trip Team Members for 2007: ------------------------------------------- Team members for 2006: ------------------------------------------- Victoria Prep Basketball Program was created in 2004 as a way to augment the Basketball BC Provincial Team program and to give more opportunity to the U16/U17/U18 players on Lower Vancouver Island. The 2004, 2005, 2006 schedules included games and tourneys in Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Port Angeles, Reno and Las Vegas. The premise behind the rep team is to give players that are intending on playing competitively at a level beyond high school, a place to play and develop. With this in mind, the Victoria Prep team is set fourth as a mix of U16 to U19 players. This means that the team is made up of players that are eligible to play senior boys' basketball in the following school season AND of players that have recently graduated from their high school program and are preparing to play basketball at the next level (college/university). The cost will be $875 per
player for the duration of the "season". Food and travelling money when the team is out of town will be the individual
players' responsibility. Players are encouraged to explore their possibilities with the Basketball BC Provincial Team program. If you are interested in being involved Victoria Prep Rep team, you should contact the program's GM, Blake Gage by phone at 250-385-4214 or by email. Email Blake Gage ASAP if you are interested in trying out for the team |
