It's a new day.  Everyone gets to play teams nearer their caliber!  Every team
has a chance to win a Camp Championship and go home with the T-Shirts!
Thursday night meeting @ Terry Fox for Tournament Seeding - 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
At Terry Fox in the outside courtyard near the gym (outside the foyer).   Drinks and snacks
will be available.
After the meeting… interested coaches are invited to join the camp coaches at Appleby's
just next to Cosco in Port Coquitlam for dinner.  Coaches must pay for their own dinner… but
it is a great opportunity to review the camp and get to know each other.
Coaches who cannot make the meeting need to phone Rich Goulet @ 6:15 PM at
604-619-6562.  Please ensure that someone is reporting your record to the meeting or
phone Rich at the above number before the meeting to give Rick your team's record.
Playoff Seeding Criteria:
1. Team finish in league play from Sunday - Thursday.
2. Location of Host teams and gyms and the need to guarantee supervision and security in
these gyms.
3. Difficulty (strength) of schedule.
4. Record against specific or common opponents.
5. Ties may be determined by a flip of a coin or a draw out of the hat.
To understand where you fit in the playoffs:
Once you have your seed, all you have to do is look up your tournament and your name # on
the following pages (in this booklet).  The last sheet contains the gym and times for the games
in your tournament draw.
Things to note:
1. All teams are guaranteed TWO (2) games.
2. All tournaments are played on two courts.  Travel back and forth on these courts may be
necessary.  For this purpose, the courts have been selected to be as close together as
possible.
3. the majority of teams want to play all of their games on Friday.  NO DUCKING OUT just
because your team loses a game.
4. There is a 30-minute break starting at 12:30 PM so that teams playing back to back can
get to their appropriate court on time.  If referees, minor officials AND the two teams
involved are agreeable these games can be played sooner.
