THREE POINT SHOOTING CONTESTS
These will be held
between the semi-final games on Friday night, January 20, 2006. (7:50 p.m.
start).
Boys’ event at Oak Bay
high school. Girls’ event at
Mt. Douglas high school.
ONE
player from each competing team will shoot for one minute. Totals will be
recorded and then compared with those of players from other teams. The top
four competitors will then shoot in a semi-final round. The top two competitors
(from the semi-finals) will then shoot in a final round. Any ties will be
broken with a 30-second shoot off. Awards will be made at the Final
Presentations on Saturday, January 21.
TOURNAMENT FINALS
Girls’ Final to be
played on Saturday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m.
Boys’ Final to be
played on Saturday, January 21 at 4:00 p.m.
Both games will take
place at Central Middle School. Award
presentations for the Girls’ and Boys’ Tournaments will be made after the
Boys’ finals. Individual
winners must be present to receive awards.
