HISTORY AT A GLANCE - 2020-present
2020-present
2025 - TBD ... TBD
2024 - OAK BAY wins their 9th consecutive Island championship and their 29th overall.  The Bays came into the Islands as South #2, and the #2 team in BC, behind Spectrum, the #1 team in BC.  The final and the 3rd place game had to be moved from Oak Bay's gym to UVIC's CARSA gym and it was a near sell-out.  Oak Bay completed the upset 79-66.  Oak Bay's Toren Franklin was named Island MVP while Spectrum's Tyler Felt got back-to-back best defensive player.  Spectrum survived a challenge game, 100-52, by Belmont for the 2nd BC berth.  Spectrum would go on to win their first ever BC Championship, 92-72, over Tamanawis.  Oak Bay finished 3rd after losing, in the semis, to Tamanawis, 80-79 in OT.
2023 - Oak Bay extends their record run for Island Championships (8th) led by back-to-back Island MVP Griffin Arnatt.  The Bays absolutely dismantled the over matched Claremont Spartans 94-58 in the final.  Spectrum led the Island's best defensive player, Tyler Felt, beat Belmont for 3rd and challenged Claremont for the 2nd Island BC berth but fell 75-67.  Oak Bay would go on to win the bronze medal (3rd place) in the BC Championships..
2022 - Oak Bay continues their domination with their 7th consecutive Island Championship, and record setting 26th overall, with a 78-69 win over Claremont. The Bays were led by MVP Griffin Arnatt.  Belmont's Mike Adarkwa-Nti garnered the honours as Best Defensive Player.  Oak Bay and Claremont would see each other in the BC's where Oak Bay won to place 9th in BC.
